Yes, I left my sweet loves. They were desperately begging for my attention when I was packing my clothes. When I locked the door, they were bawling for my care. In spite of missing them, I headed out for a weekend adventure.
My family and I drove to West Virginia to spend the cool autumn weekend camping.
As we drove across the mountains, the red, orange, and gold leaves shimmered in the sunlight. With the trees' colors at their peak, it created an absolute gorgeous setting.
We took a hike in the woods. You could smell the pine needles, dried leaves, and dewy grass. We also got to see a stunning waterfall. The water was silver and matched perfectly with the golden trees. We also when up a ski lift in the area. At first, I was confused why I would spend seven dollars for a ride up a mountain when I could be saving my money for my dear kitties. After a half an hour going up the mountain and looking at the landscape, the money I spent was worth the view. The mountains were proudly showing their colors and I could see as far I wished.
Also in West Virginia, I saw various types of wildlife. I saw all types of deer, scatter brained squirrels, an adorable red fox, various birds and even an ruffed grouse. When the weekend was over, I almost wanted to pack my belongings and live out here in the magical woods. On the way home, I was extremely excited about my future. Just then, I noticed a dead deer alongside the road. A few moments later, a fried possum and after that, a squirrel! I was mortified and busted into sobbing tears. Then hit me, with my growing cat farm I needed them to be protected from the dangers of human life. Where will my felines be able to wander safely and snooze in harmony? This will be a question that I must ponder for the safety of my beloveds.
