With the Christmas season approaching, my cat Sombra, is getting chubbier and chubbier. I know this is a tremendous problem, but I don’t understand how I can resolve this issue. I talked to my sidekick, KT and she said that having an outdoor cat is reasonably healthier for your felines. She was telling me, like us humans, we get outrageously bored just sitting around in a house. There is so much to do, you could never get tired and bored of the outdoors. KT also informed me of her dilemma with her husband about some weight problems. “I just threw my husband outside and won't let him back in till he's not fat,” she told me. “And within weeks, he lost a chunk of weight. I was really shocked by his results but I still haven’t allowed him inside.” When she explained this to me, I thought it was a splendid idea! By that point my sidekick had to leave to her homeland. I was almost ready to free my cat to the outdoors, but then I had a thought. What if my beloved Sombra ran away from home?
I screeched and pondered this question for many hours. I desperately needed to call KT again. Luckily, I had her on speed dial. According to her, she said that outdoor cats do explore away from home, but they know exactly which property is home. I was relieved by the news. I hung up the phone and went searching for my kitty. Sombra was lying right in the middle of my bed. I snatched her and ran to the door. I gently placed her out in the grass and sprinted back inside and slammed the door. I peeked out the window just to make sure she was still alive. I also grabbed a bowl of Royal Canin and placed it on the front porch, just in case she got hungry.
10 DAYS TILL CHRISTMAS!
